The Government of Pakistan, under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz (for Punjab), has re-launched the Youth Laptop Scheme 2025 to empower deserving students with modern tools for education and innovation.
Overview of the Laptop Scheme
This initiative is a part of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, aiming to distribute free laptops among high-achieving and underprivileged students enrolled in public sector universities and colleges across Pakistan.
Who is Eligible?
Students meeting the following criteria can apply:
- Enrolled in a public sector university (HEC-recognized)
- Pakistani national with valid CNIC or B-form.
- Undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD students.
- Must have 60% or above marks (or equivalent CGPA)
- Must not have received a laptop under previous schemes.

- Register with your CNIC and academic details
- Submit your application and educational documents
- Wait for merit list announcement and verification
- Receive a laptop from your university administration
